The New Phytologist Trust
The New Phytologist Trust is an independent non-profit-making organization which is dedicated to the promotion of plant science. The New Phytologist Trust promotes plant science via the publication of New Phytologist, and the funding of Symposia, Workshops and scientific prizes, as well as through free access for our Tansley reviews immediately upon publication. All Trustees are active Editors, have served as Editors, or have extensive experience of scholarly publishing. There is no large governing body to answer to, and it is run by the Editors for the plant science community. Any excess revenue is ploughed straight back into supporting plant science. The New Phytologist Tansley Medal is awarded annually in recognition of an outstanding contribution to research in plant science by an individual in the early stages of their career. The winner receives a prize of £2000 and authors a Minireview that is published in New Phytologist. @NewPhyt fb.com/NewPhytologist
