6 Writing a persuasive letter …
For The Love of Music Writing a persuasive letter … Last year’s winner’s letter looked like this … Hello Andrew My name is Grace and I want to go to a concert because I have never been to one before, I play the piano and am in the school orchestra-I want to see what a real one is like. My favourite piece out of your season brochure is Saint-Saëns from the "Fantastic“ concert because it has piano and violin in it which I like, it is quite loud and energetic in some places and softer in others. Also, it sounds joyful and like summertime. Then it gets louder for a bit then quieter and sounds a bit sad. Next there is a bit were you can hear the piano a lot, the violin then the piano again which gets louder and then plays a melody thing. At the end it goes soft then stops. That is basically what I like about it, if you can get me a ticket that would be great. Thanks, Grace P.S - I am 10 years old and have been playing the piano for four years.
