1 Tuesday, October 11th Agenda: Warm up: Project Intro Presentation Days Oct. 20, 21, 24 On your warm- up sheet create a VENN Diagram. Compare and contrast the WHIGS and the TORIES.

3 American Revolution Pretest
Turn on your remote and use your LUNCH # to login Take the quiz by entering your answers and pressing send If you make an error, simply press the answer you meant to chose, then hit send. If you skip one and need to go back, hit go and the number you want to return to, and send. #6- A = True and B = False When you have answered the last question, it will ask if you want to log out. YES and send. When you are done, put the remote and pretest on the cart and take the American Revolution Project sheet and read it silently.

a. Explain the immediate and long-term causes of the American Revolution and their impact on Georgia; include the French and Indian War (i.e., Seven Years War), Proclamation of 1763, Stamp Act, Intolerable Acts, and the Declaration of Independence. b. Analyze the significance of people and events in Georgia on the Revolutionary War; include Loyalists, patriots, Elijah Clarke, Austin Dabney, Nancy Hart, Button Gwinnett, Lyman Hall, George Walton, Battle of Kettle Creek, and siege of Savannah

5 American Revolution Project
You will be assigned to a primary person or event of the American Revolution. You will be given FOUR days to research and prepare your presentation. Be sure to include the who, what, when, where, why, how AND the impact/significance. You will utilize your textbook, New Georgia Encyclopedia and other resources found in MackinVIA. Once your research is complete, you and your partners will decide upon a presentation format to be presented in class. Use your time wisely, you only have four days in class to prepare.
