Compliance Trainings – fall 2017
SGO Safe Campus Community Current Mandatory Trainings All above mandatory trainings must be completed within 30 days of initial notification. Sept 18: Additional Mandatory Trainings NEW: FERPA, ADA, S.A.F.E. Response to Violence, Information Security Awareness (ITS) All online except S.A.F.E. Response to Violence Compliance Trainings – fall 2017 Active Shooter Protection of Minors Compliance & Ethics Sexual Harassment Title IX and Title IX Update Information Security Trainings (IST) General Safety Current Mandatory Training: All faculty must take these trainings to be in compliance- all online; some require quiz and passing score Addition Mandatory Training: EFFECTIVE Sept. 18 ITS is replacing IST and is brand new training content and modules (now there are 16); 100% passing score SAFE Response to Violence is replacing Active Shooter training and will be offered in person until all employees are trained. FERPA is brand new (70% test score to pass) Title IX and Title IX Updated will be combined to be one new training module ADA will be an accessibility faculty/staff training workshop with 100% passing test score

Public Safety •105 uniformed police officers and security officers •Campus-wide 24-hour security including more than 1400 security cameras, 138 emergency call boxes and over 1,000 panic alarms; •Enhanced lighting in parking lots, sidewalks and around buildings; •CHANT Intervention Team, a group of professional staff and faculty who identify and assist students whose behaviors are disruptive to the educational and/or residence hall environment or raise safety-related concerns, and an online reporting system.

Environmental Health and Safety Introduced new safety training courses-EHS 1055 (online) Asbestos Awareness and EHS 2056 (classroom) Asbestos Operations and Maintenance Class attendance: 673 Distributed 162 First Aid Kits (ANSI 2015 compliant) to CCU fleet vehicles
