John 1:45-51 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote – Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” said Philip When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.” “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.”

John 1:45-51 continued Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.” Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” He then added, “very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”

Acts 2:17-18, 38-39 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”

Acts 2:17-18, continued “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off – for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

Prophetic song, Prophetic contribution, God is prophetically saying in the meeting (eg salvation, healing), Prophecy in the Word. Ephesians 4 training weekends, equip courses, come for prayer before the meeting starts or after the service

Look for Opportunities: See one, Do one, Teach one Do One: Learn by doing In the safety of church family. Ministry training with leaders Share pictures during church or during prayer submitted to whoever is leading Dream journal Look for opportunities with family and friends

1 thessalonians 5:19-21, 1 John 4:1, Rev 19:10 Test all Prophecy and Test yourself Test with the filter of Jesus, The Word, and Love The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of Prophecy (Rev 19:10) Don’t quench the spirit and don’t despise prophecy, but test everything (1 Thessalonians 5:19-21)

1 Corinthians 13:4-7,9 Test with 1 Corinthians 13 the way of Love A. Patient: Love is patient. Meets us where we are. Not manipulative B. Kind: Does not rejoice in wrong doing. C. Sacrificial: Love bears all things D. Humble: does not boast, not arrogant, does not insist on its own way We know in part and prophecy in part 1 Corinthians 13:9
