The general principle of Horizon 2020 is openness
International cooperation is crucial to address many Horizon 2020 objectives Participation is open to any legal entity from any country (with some exceptions) Funding of participants is open to: Legal entities established in EU 28 Member States Legal entities established in Horizon 2020 Associated Countries (currently 13) Legal entities established in Third Countries (under some conditions)
