2 Rodolphe Topffer Rodolphe Topffer was born 31/1/1799.
In 1819 his eyes began to weaken and was than unable to pursue a career in the visual arts like his father. So instead of pursuing visual arts he began to study. Became a professor at the university of Geneva, and than was named professor of belles-lettres at the university of Geneva. In the years of he was the editor of the Courrier de Geneva.

3 Rodolphe Topffer Ce Titles
Rodolphe created six Ce Titles. In 1833 he created “Histoire de M. Jabot” In 1837 he created “Monsieur Crépin” In 1839 he created “Les Amours de M. Vieuxbois” In1840 he created “Monsieur Pencil” In 1840 he created “Le Docteur Festus” And finally in 1845 he created “Histoire d’Albert and Hisoire de ne Cryptogame.

4 Astérix (et Obélix) Series of French comic books by René Goseinny, and illustrated by Albert Underbo. First appearance was in French in the magazing Pilote on Oct 34 comic books have been released. The series have been translated into over 100 languages. Has 11 films, 8 are animates, and 3 have live actors. 325 million copies of 34 Astérix books have been sold world wide.

Was created in 1957 by Andre Franquin Was in the comic strip magazine called Spirou. Based on an ordinary kid, and his name varies in all different countries.

Been translated in 23 languages. Was created by the Belgian artists Morris. Morris drew Lucky Luke from 1946 to his deathbed in 2001.

Jesse James is the new robin hood who steals from the rich. Smoking is a part of the character’s profile. Stereotypes are sneaky and lazy which are based on clichés and stereotypes.

8 Yoko Tsuno Creation Yoko Tsuno’s author is Roger Leloup.
He was born in Verviers on November 17, 1933. He first drew Yoko on Christmas night of 1968. He went to the publishers in 1969.

9 Yoko Tsuno Yoko is considered to be as beautiful as the sunshine.
Her first album was published on September 24, 1970. Everyone though Yoko was different from all other female cartoon characters, and that she was the beginning of a new evolution. Yoko was born on a Japanese island, but she is still more European than Asian. She is an electrical engineer, and fights crime.

10 Blake et Mortimer A belgium comics series created by Edgar P. Jacobs.
The main characters are Philip Mortimer, a leading British scientist and Captain Francis Blake of M15. The enemy is Colonel Olrick. It was published in 1946, and the TV series first aired in 1997.

12 Peanuts and Tintin et Spriou
The comparison between Peanuts and Tintin are a dog and a boy having adventures together, and the strong bond of their friendship they have between each other.

13 Blake et Mortimer and Batman
The comparison these two comic strips have are the characters inside the comic. Blake and Mortimer are the good guys like Batman is the good guy. While Blake and Mortimer and Batman both have enemies.

14 Blondie and Yoko Tsuno Both of the main characters are female, and they are both beautiful.
