First I will show you the End User view to the OPAC so you have a clear idea of what your patrons will see and how they can use Genie. Then, I will delve into the administrative capabilities and how Genie can help you manage the back office functions of your library. I will begin with the main search screen. End users may search for words anywhere in a record or by a specific field such as title, author, subject, Record Type. We use these fields for demonstration purposes, but any field within the catalog can be exposed for your end users to search.
