Do Now: Find your assigned seat and fill out the student information sheet on your desk.

2 What are we going to learn about in this class this year?

3 Course Expectations Must have your binder and a pencil and be seated in your assigned seat when the bell rings everyday. No use of cell phones or iPods in the classroom unless given permission. No eating or drinking in the classroom. Be respectful.

4 Homework Posted on the whiteboard and on my faculty page.
Must be completed on your own time. You may work collaboratively, but your work should not be identical to others. That is plagiarism. Assignments are to be turned in on time. No late assignments shall be accepted.

5 Grading Policy Total Points Example: 8/10 = .80 X 100 = 80%
Grade Breakdown: Tests and Quizzes – 50% Classwork and Homework – 25% Labs and Activities – 25%

6 Absent Work How to find out what you missed:
Daily activities can be found on my faculty page Extra worksheet folders Speak with me directly If you are absent, all work missed should be turned in the next class day. If you miss a test or a quiz, you need to be prepared to take it the day you get back. If you miss a review day, you are still required to take the quiz or test the same day as the rest of the class.
