Americorps A network of local, state, and national service programs.
Connects 75,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet our country’s critical needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment. 15,000 locations AmeriCorps State and National members serve national and local nonprofit and community groups. AmeriCorps VISTA members serve full time fighting poverty .AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps), a team-based residential program for young adults who carry out projects in public safety, the environment, youth development, and disaster relief and preparedness.

Americorps Education Opportunity & Future Leaders
Educational Opportunity 1 year full-time service, Segal AmeriCorps Education Award (equal to the maximum Pell Grant) that helps pay for college or pay back student loans. Preparing 21st Century Workforce Pathway to economic opportunity. Provides valuable skills specific service (construction, teaching, weatherization, etc.) and general leadership and problem-solving. Creating Future Leaders Gain new, useful skills to advance education and become more connected to community.

Val R. Christensen Service Center USU student run volunteer organization Started in 1970 One of the largest formal groups on campus. Over 20 volunteer programs to choose from.

Team Hoyt Dick & Rick Hoyt Father-and-son team Massachusetts
Together compete in marathon & triathlon races. 26.2 miles of running 112 miles of bicycling 2.4 miles of swimming. Together they have climbed mountains, and trekked 3, miles across America.

Common Ground Outdoor Adventures
Mission Provide life-enhancing outdoor recreational opportunities for disabled. Provide adaptive equipment and support enable people with disabilities participate in outdoor recreation Reduce stereotypes, raise awareness, and empower people to realize their full potential. Trips physically and financially accessible. Since 1999, served over 1,600 each year.
