Homework 1. Read 1a, and make up conversations with your classmates, using “can/can’t, or, very well/a little.” 2. Write an article, taking the following passage as an example. Jack is my good friend. He can speak English very well, but he can’t sing English songs. He can speak Japanese, but he can’t speak it very well. He can speak Chinese a little, but he can’t cook at all.
