All About Me  My name is Brenna. I have two cats and a ferret. In my trailer, it’s only me and my mom, besides my pets. I like video games, music and anything that has to do with art. I feel that I am good at literature, yet I’m terrible at math. I love making stories and make them into people and comics.

Fall is… My Cousins Accident Unthankful Person Journal Entries

Fall is.. Fall is the season where you rake up leaves then jump into the pile, but to me, Fall is my favorite season. It’s not too hot or freezing. I love watching the leaves turn all kinds of colors and fall. One time, I saw a pink leaf when me and my mom were walking. Fall calms me down but it’s kind of sad to see the leaves die in the freezing winter. If it was Fall forever, I’d go out and do a Fall activity for it doesn’t last forever.

My Cousins accident. One weekend in summer, three of my cousins came over and slept over. My mom made us stay outside for the two days. It was the second day I think when we all rode our bikes up the hill and were about to go down . I hadn’t realized that my cousin, Auston (girl), had no shoes on and she didn’t know how to use her brakes. So we both went down. Colton and Payton stayed up at the top. Suddenly, I hear Auston panicking. At first, I was confused until I realized she didn’t have her shoes on and couldn’t drag her feet to slow down. At the bottom, the hill had a slight turn and Auston didn’t know how to turn either! So, like the older cousin I am, I started freaking out. At the bottom of the turn was an electric fence. Then, WHACK! Into the neighbors fence! She flipped backwards on her back as she hit it. Her bike a few feet away. I called her name, stopping as quick as I could. I jumped off my bike, not caring if it fell down and I ran to her. As I was getting off, Colton and Payton rode down. They stopped too as I got her bike. Colton got her. Getting out, I saw the cows looking at us and I looked at the broken string. We went straight to my mother and told her what happened. We all went over to the neighbors and told them. They understood and were very kind about it. The women said she was very lucky because they had turned off the fence. We all laugh now talking about it. I wrote this because I wanted to share the terrifying moment of my cousin.

Unthankful person One day, me, my mom and my Nana went out to eat. When we were done, we walked out of the door. I saw a women about to go in so I held the door open for her. She said nothing. Just looked back, like she was glaring at me. My Nana and mom saw. I was a bit ticked but shrugged it off. There are rude people in the world but I will be nice! Me and my mom were joking around with it, saying how I should have dragged her back, shut the door in her face, then say “You’re welcome.” then walk away. I know I said I’d be nice but hey. Maybe sometimes I should be a little mean. I wrote this because I thought people should know that not everyone is nice.

List Of Books I’ve Read Dear Mr. Henshaw by Beverly Cleary

Tolkien Awkward by Svetlana Chmakova Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time by Akira Himekawa ALOT of The Magic Tree House List Of Books I’ve Read

A look at me as a reader I like reading almost anything and I can read almost anywhere, as long as I’m comfy. Noisy or quiet. I mostly read fantasy and science fiction. I also like, I will admit, romance. Sometimes it’s hard for me to find a good book that I find interesting.

A Look At Me As A Writer I love making stories very much. Mostly romance and fantasy. I write/type stories on a internet site. Normally, after I update those stories, I like to think about what to write about next which would be dramatic, action etc. That’s a habit I need to stop so every chapter isn’t scary with action.

Literature Circle Book Entries
A Song for Bijou Connect the stars by Marisa de los Santos and David Teague Prisoner B-3087 by Alan Gratz I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai Literature Circle Book Entries

A Song for Bijou A Song for Bijou is about a Haitian girl moving to America. Alex went to a place with his friend, Nomura, and saw Bijou. Alex learned later that Bijou’s aunt and uncle were very strict. Bijou’s friends and Alex’s friends make a plan to go to a movie all together so Bijou and Alex could have a ‘date’. One day, Alex and Bijou and basically both schools, discover a awful video made by the bullies, Rocky and Trevor. I really liked this book. It was cute.

Connect the stars Connect the Stars is about two people, Audrey and Aaron. Audrey can tell when someone is lying. Aaron is a walking Wikipedia. Anything he sees or hears is printed into his brain. After getting in trouble, Aaron’s parents send him to a camp. After Audrey was betrayed by her best friend, her parents send her to camp. Audrey and Aaron meet a lot of people but one person makes life at camp a bit difficult. What happens when that person goes missing? I loved this book! It was detailed nicely!

Prisoner B-3087 A Jewish boy named Yanek survived World War ||. In the beginning, he was (probably) 11. His family was snatched away from him at the age of 13, they all were killed by the Nazis. He was taken too, to work and work until he thought of death. (He had been working for 6 years!) Camp to Camp. Torture to torture. Starving with barely any food, The Nazis were trying to break everyone’s mind, and eventually almost broke Yaneks. Uncle Moshe told him he is no one. No name. no family. Nothing. You must do anything to survive this horror and he did survive. I absolutely loved this book!

I Am Malala Malala is a girl who stood up for girls’ education! As a kid, the Taliban bombed schools and killed people. She wasn’t allowed to go to school after winter break yet she goes on the bus and gets shot. But she lives! This is an inspiring book to standup for what/who you love.

On My Honor by Marion Dane Bauer
The Cay by Theodore Taylor The Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell Tuck Everlasting By Natalie Babbitt Teacher Read Aloud

On My Honor On My Honor is about two friends. One named Tony and the other named Joel. Tony told Joel he wanted to climb Starved Rock, which rumors say, it’s dangerous! Tony called Joel a chicken because he didn’t want to. Joel asked his father if they could go because he wanted his dad to say no. but he says yes. They ride to the bridge when Joel realizes Tony isn’t riding behind him. So he goes back and sees Tony at the bridge. Tony says he wanted to go swim in the gross river! Tony refuses at first but they both go in anyway. Joel dares Tony to swim to the sandbank. Joel wins but turns around to nothing. Tony is gone! I really thought this book was going to continue but it didn’t, unfortunately. It’s a good book too!

The Cay The Cay is about a boy named Phillip. He’s in a war zone and can’t fly through air because his mother doesn’t like flying. His father can’t leave because he has a job. So his mom takes Phillip on a boat. It get torpedoed and Phillip wakes up on a raft with a strange black man. On the raft he becomes blind because something hit his head which hit nerves. They land on an island. Months later, a hurricane comes through and the Black man, Timothy, Dies. So Phillip and a cat named Stew cat are alone until rescue comes. This book is really good and thrilling. I recommend you read it!

The Island of the Blue Dolphins
This book is about a young girl named Karana. She lives on an island that looks like a dolphin. One day, Aleuts came for a different place, asking to fish for food. Karana’s father wanted something in return, yet the Aleuts didn’t pay back and left while a fight went on. Karana’s father had died. A different ship had came and they all got on except for Karana’s brother, who went to get a spear. The boat started leaving when Karana was yelling for them to wait. Finally, she jumped into the water, dropped all her things, and went back. Not even the second day, Her brother died. Karana lived on the old island alone, eventually finding a wild dog the Aleuts maybe left behind. Listen/read the story on how Karana survives on the island. Or does she survive?

Tuck Everlasting Tuck Everlasting is about two families; The Fosters and The Tucks. The Fosters have a daughter named Winnie who is not allowed in the wood. She escapes anyway, finding one of the Tucks, Jessie. The Tucks kidnapped her, yet didn’t wan to hurt her. They told her a ridiculous story. What was this story? (CliffHanger. MUHAHAHAHA)

Year in Review I liked 6th grade. Math was easier (Sort of) and all the classes were fun. I would like to thank my teachers for helping me through it all, preparing us for 7th grade. EVEN THOUGH I DON’T WANT TO GO. At least it’s not 5th grade. I didn’t understand any of that. But 6th grade was fun and I love my friends. ….I still don’t want to go to 7th grade…
