What Publish prices Publish prices is the final stage in setting transmission prices for the upcoming pricing year. This walkthrough will provide you with a high level pricing overview, and outline what you should receive via courier pack, and on your customer page, to assist you in understanding your April 2017 pricing. What you should receive
In order to help you understand your April 2017 pricing you should receive: Grid charges schedule (Website and Courier Pack) Customer pricing summary reports (Website) Connection charge reports (Website) CLADs by connection location (Website) Pricing summary - Year Specific Data (Website and Courier Pack) Pricing comparison graphs (Website) Price and volume comparison YOY (Website)

Grid charges schedules
Effective 01 April 2017 We will provide you with a full set of April 2017 Grid Charges Schedules for your connection locations. This will detail your monthly charges for the next pricing year.

Customer pricing summary reports
We will provide you with a Customer Pricing Summary. This report shows your Connection, Interconnection, and HVDC charges

Connection Charge Reports
We will provide you connection charge component reports for each of your connection locations. These reports show next year’s connection charges broken down by individual building blocks. Please note that, if applicable, the injection overhead component will be included in the maintenance charge.

CLADs by connection location
We will provide you with final CLADs, which your connection charges are based on.

Pricing summary (year specific data)
We will provide you with a summary of prices, including the: Components of your connection charge: Asset Return Rate Maintenance Recovery Rate Injection Overhead Rate Operating Recovery Rate Interconnection Rate Components of your HVDC charge SIMI rate HAMI rate Note, the Injection Overhead rate only applies to connection assets where the customer has injection and the HVDC charge for South Island generators. Furthermore, the SIMI rate is a new introduction from April 2017

Pricing comparison graphs
We will provide you with a graph of your latest charges, and your charges from previous pricing years.

Price and volume comparison YOY
We will provide you with a Price and Volume Comparison between April 2016 and April This report shows your Connection, Interconnection, and HVDC, volumes and charges for the upcoming pricing year, and compares them against the same volumes and charges for the current pricing year.
