Strengths and weaknesses
Strengths: -Large size material (N=25,419) -Prospective data collection Weaknesses: -Parent-reported disease outcome -Participation bias -Does not differentiate between different kinds of otitis media

Conclusions We found an association between maternal use of antibiotics during pregnancy and childhood otitis media The association seems stronger for consumption of antibiotics during the 2nd trimester
