Climate The rainforest stays warm year-round (68-93 degrees F.)
It also receives anywhere from inches of rain each year Since it rains so much, there is a lot of humidity here
4
Animals There is a diverse animal population in the rainforest that range in size and niche Certain examples are: leopards, anacondas, tapirs, and capybaras
5
Plants There is also a very diverse plant population here since there is so much rainfall and sunlight Examples include: the kapok tree, orchids, and water lilies
6
Geography The rainforest contains many sources of fresh water including an abundance of lakes and rivers The soil in the rainforest is very fertile and most plants grow very well here
7
Unique Factors Certain plants and animals are expertly adapted to this region The leopard has spots so it can camouflage itself in the dense foliage The kapok tree grows tall so it reach the sunlight easier than all the other plants in the region
8
Living Conditions There is an abundance of trees to collect wood in order to build shelters There is a high level of danger with all the predators here, so building shelter in a tree is almost vital
