4 Review PVSD Policy “Studies show that there is a direct correlation between good school attendance and student achievement; therefore, it is important that parents/guardians reinforce the importance of good school attendance and make every effort to send their child to school on a regular basis.”

5 Students will not receive letter grades in 2nd grade.
Students will be assessed in reading, writing, and mathematics. Please take the time to look over tests that go home and review any skills or areas of weakness with your child.

6 Grades are based on mastery of standards.
E – Exceeds grade level, minimum 1 year above grade level M – Meets grade level P – Progressing towards grade level standards N – Does not meet grade level standards

Some students leave at side gate with permission Plan a daily meeting spot with your child Please abide by all rules in the parking lot, pull through, and nearby streets to keep our students safe and to set good examples for our little sponges.
