Welcome PETS conducted world-wide – in USA: Atlanta, Columbus, Denver, Los Angeles, Orlando, San Jose, Seattle, Syracuse, etc. Goal of PETS: Prepare you to be the best club president possible. Prepare you to lead your club.

Introductions – Presidents’ Elect (PEs)
Preparation Form pairs. Introduce yourself to your partner. (1 min) Reverse roles. (1 min) Introduction Introduce your partner to the group. (20 sec) May include: Name, Club, Business, surprise, etc. This will be fast, with the first pair modeling how to do this.

Share Information on RI. Share Excitement. Breakout Sessions Training / Information Sharing – being an effective president, aspects of club (e.g., membership, fund raising, service) District Breakout Sessions Team-building, working with district people, sharing district, information, sharing expectations Find your Why?

Getting the most out of pets
People Over 350 PEs from 7 districts (IL, WI, UP-M). Meet – Greet – Get contact information – Share ideas. RIDE, RI PE, PDGs, AGs – they are here – listen, learn. Ideas Take away 1 idea from each session. (Record it) Motivation Get excited. Find ideas to take home to your club. Help your club become even better. Find your Why?

Expectations for Assistant Governors
They are: Your First Line of Support & Assistance; Past Club Presidents They will Visit your club regularly: Discuss concerns and needs. Provide information, resources, and advice that will allow clubs to be more successful. Keep the governor up to date on club’s progress and identify areas that may need attention Help club leaders prepare for the governor’s official visit

Expectations for Assistant Governors
Monitor the progress of clubs toward their goals. Use Club Central to monitor club progress on their goals and achievements in areas such as membership, service initiatives, and giving to The Rotary Foundation. Quarterly report provided on clubs to the District Executive Board focusing on club goals. Meet Quarterly with other AGs and the DG.
