General Use Cases for NVOs
Three sets of use cases described in the draft Network Virtual Overlay (NVO) in a DC Interconnecting an NVO with an external network Access via Internet Access via WAN VPN DC Applications using NVO3 Supporting multiple technologies in a Data Center Multiple virtual networks in a tenant network in DCs NVOs for Virtual Data Center (vDC) The purpose… These are real-world use cases we know of so far. We’re hoping to gather more use cases from the folks present here in order to make this work worthwhile. In this presentation I stay away from mash up examples so we can focus on key enabling properties individually.
