eNDORSEMENT pgp AT-RISK pgp Students must select an endorsement as they enter 9th grade with the ASSISTANCE of the middle & high school counselors. Students may: change Endorsements at the end of 10th grade OR choose to complete the foundation program only with parental permission at the end of 10th grade Students identified in middle & high school as not having made adequate progress in one or more of the following areas: Retention Attendance Failed state exam Course failure

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrator Counselor Communicate transition plan to staff and parents Identify endorsements and communicate with feeder school administrators and counselors Develop master schedule Verify tally sheet and adjust master schedule, as needed Provide a hardcopy to counselor and data controller Communicate all changes to counselors and data controllers Communicate endorsements to parents and students Develop process for completing choice sheets Assist students with selecting endorsements Assist students with course selection Assist new students with selecting endorsements and courses Verify schedules for all students Note: counselors may complete the above activities through classroom guidance, small groups, and individual planning Data controller Enter the framework of the master schedule Enter schedules for all new students Verify all student schedules have been transferred to Chancery Run tally report as deemed necessary by the administrator Make changes to master schedule as deemed appropriate by the administrator
