Enrollment Sign into the LMS and select your course
After joining a group, the Instructor System Admin will pull group enrollments into ECAT Click on the ECAT Portal link in the LMS menu and ECAT will pop up in a new tab

Update Profile On first login, the profile screen with be displayed, otherwise expand the menu using the 3-line button in the top left, click on your name, and then select View/Edit Profile Use the 3-dot button on any section to display the Edit button and click to edit Name and fields are retrieved from the LMS, to update these fields update your LMS and AU Portal accounts and ECAT will be updated automatically Gender, Affiliation, Military Component, and Pay Grade must be updated to use ECAT

Cognitive Assessments
Expand menu using the 3-line button in the top left then click on Cognitive Assessments Select one of the 4 available Assessments and click Start Each assessment is slightly different, read the instructions and complete all items After completing an assessment, the results for that assessment will display and the Start button will be changed to Results in the list On a results screen, use Back To List to go back to the assessment list to start another assessment or view other results

Workgroup List Expand the menu using the 3-line button in the top left, select Student, and then select Self/Peer Assessments to bring up the list The button in the upper right with the group type and name (BC3: Brightbean in the screenshot) may be used to change groups

Self/Peer Assessments
On the Workgroup List click the Add button on a peer to start a new assessment Select an efficiency AND frequency (i.e. Effective and Usually) or use the 3-dot button to select Not Displayed Use the paging buttons to change behaviors Paging buttons for assessed behaviors will be underlined in green Once all behaviors have been assessed, a Save button will be displayed

Self/Peer Assessments cont.
After completing an assessment, the Workgroup list will show Edit for that peer On the Edit screen, hover over a behavior and then click on the edit button to edit it Change Efficiency/Frequency or use the 3-dot button to change to Not Displayed Use the green check button to accept the change (change will be highlighted in green afterwards) Use the X button to cancel the change Use the Save button to save any changes made (only changes indicated as accepted using the green check mark button will be saved) If the Workgroup is in Under Review or Published status assessments cannot be edited, only viewed

Comments On the Workgroup List click the Add button on a peer to create a new comment Use the From: dropdown to leave a named or anonymous comment Enter comment text (maximum 3000 characters) and click Save After saving a comment, Workgroup List shows Edit for that peer

Stratifications On the Workgroup List click the Stratifications Tab
Enter a stratification in the Proposed Change column for every peer and yourself If an entry shows as Invalid, hover over Invalid to see the reason Click Save Stratifications to save, if all proposed changes are valid, the changes will be moved to the Strat column upon save Use the Proposed Change column to make any adjustments desired and use Save button to save them

Group Results After a group is Published by an Instructor, the Workgroup List will show the results Use the View Assessments tab to view assessments, comments, and strats given Use the Behaviors Result tab to view how you, your peers, and your instructor (if assessed) rated your effectiveness in each behavior during that group

Group Results cont. After a group is Published by an Instructor, the Workgroup List will show the results Use the Comments Result tab to view any comments your peers or your instructor left for you in that group

Roadrunner Expand the left menu, select Student, and then select Roadrunner Use the Add Location button to add a new entry Use the Options button on an entry to Edit or Delete the entry or Sign Out if not signed out already After Signing In on an entry that entry will be locked, but able to be cloned to create a new entry for re-use of the location
