It is the name you give a noun that names an emotion, ideal, or idea. Examples: bravery love honesty peace faith intelligence the name of something or someone that we experience through our senses, sight, hearing, smell, touch or taste. Most nouns are concrete. Examples: cookie book pencil flowers a noun that is discussing more than one person, place, or thing. These nouns usually have an “s” or “es” on the end. Examples: dogs tress turtles tomatoes A noun that is showing ownership or possession of something. These nouns are usually followed by an ‘s or s’. Examples: dog’s Jones’ Opal’s student’s
