2 Logging In: Using Google Chrome, go to https://controlpayadvanced.com.
Note: If you are a first-time user and have a card number but do not have a log in user ID and password, please contact your P-Card Coordinator at Extension 8046 for assistance.

3 Logging In: Security Code Frequently Asked Questions:
The security code will be coming from: During the initial login process, if you have entered your User Name, Password, and Organization ID and did not receive a security code, please follow the below steps: Check Spam/Junk folder. If the security code is going to this folder, please mark the address as not junk or safe. Below is a screen shot of the header.

4 Logging In (Continued):
To log in, type your username, password, and organization ID. Please remember, username and passwords are case sensitive. Note: If you want the application to automatically fill the Username the next time you log in, click Remember My Username. Click Log In.

5 Creating and Submitting a Transaction Envelope:
A Transaction Envelope must be created to approve and store all purchases for workflow processing. To create a transaction envelope, complete the following steps: On the menu of the Dashboard, click Transaction Maint and then click Transaction Envelope.

6 Creating and Submitting a Transaction Envelope:
The Transaction Envelope page opens. Click Add New. The Create page opens. What displays on the Create page is a drop down list referencing your card. In the Actions column, click the Create Envelope icon:

In the Employee Name field, the name should be the same name as the name embossed on the selected card. In the Envelope Name field, type a name for the envelope. Please use “YEAR, MONTH, INITIALS OF THE CARDHOLDER” for the envelope name. Example: AUG CH

9 Creating and Submitting a Transaction Envelope:
In the Date Selection field, click to select Cycle, Month or Custom. Be sure to select the correct date range corresponding with the range of your transactions that require approval. The normal search will be by Cycle. Click Save.

10 Creating and Submitting a Transaction Envelope:
The Transactions page opens to enable you to search for the cycle transactions. Click Search.

11 Creating and Submitting a Transaction Envelope:
The Transactions page now opens to the contents of the envelope.

12 Creating and Submitting a Transaction Envelope:
From this page you will: Check the Second Box for each transaction to select the charges you are approving. Add a Note (Required Field) regarding the intended use/purpose for each transaction in the cycle. Once all transactions are approved, click In Envelope in the Header of the Transactions Envelope (just above the first transaction). Click Save Click Submit to Workflow

13 Congratulations! You have successfully reviewed, approved and submitted the Transaction Envelope for processing by your campus or departmental bookkeeper!
