2. Examples of Children’s Rights
The right to shelter
The right to be safe
The right to clean water
The right to voice your own opinions
The right to play
The right to practise your own religion
Lots of classes have been learning about Children’s Rights. Can anyone give an example of a right? Hands up! (Ask 3 people)

The Right to an education which helps you to learn to protect the environment

The Right to Privacy
We have also learned about our rights at assemblies (read out the slide)

4. School Charter
Classes from P3-P5 created our ‘Tree of Rights’. This explains our rights and also our responsibilities

We picked the rights we felt were most important. (Read from slide)
Please display these in your classrooms to remind you of your rights.
Remember- you can always speak to your pupil councillor if you have any questions or concerns about your rights.
