How to Draw a Basic Ziggurat

Horizon Line (your eye level)

Draw the edge of the ziggurat closest to you.

Connect the top and bottom of that edge to a left point on the horizon line.

Connect the top and bottom of that edge to a right point on the horizon line.

Draw the back edges of the ziggurat in between the vanishing lines.

Connect the top of those back lines to the oopposite vanishing point.

Erase the vanishing lines that go beyond the structure.

Draw the rise of the ramp. Connect the corner of the bottom edge to the top edge of the wall. Repeat the same angled line for the back edge of the ramp. x x

Right and left sides of doors and windows are vertical, or in the case of this ziggurat, slightly angled. The windows also get thinner toward the vanishing point. x x
