2 Introduction: When it comes to such a cultural city like London, it’s hard to know where to begin. With so many breathtaking museums around it’s even harder to pick one to talk about, that’s why we ended up picking three.

3 National and Portrait Gallery
With art masterpieces that come from the most relevant both artists and years in history, these stunning buildings leads you through the exciting path of cultural evolution through art. As a personal appreciation, we were mostly surprised by the amount of paintings whose artists we hadn’t heard of before but yet were so important and had so many things to say. (That were of course told in a different way each by their paintings.) When referring to the most well-known artists you can find both Picasso’s and Van Gogh’s pieces. These all stand out altogether with even older and as important paintings. From Portrait Gallery you can see one of the most important views in London that is the Big Ben, along with Tower Bridge, but even though National Gallery is just besides it (being both on Trafagal’s square), this last one doesn’t share the same view privileges.

5 Tate Modern All around the world there are a lot of modern art museums. One of the most famous ones is the Tate Modern Museum. Placed in the city of London, in the United Kingdom, this museum shows some of the most amazing and recognized works of art of the last years. From Picasso´s and Warhol´s to Rothko´s and Dalí´s they’re exhibit in the different collections, including the temporary ones you should most definitely look for in its website. On its beginning, it wasn’t expected to be such an overnight success, so when it was, an extension of the first building had to be made which has been being built since 2004. The impressive building, which opened its gates to the public in the year 2000, contains 9 saloons in which you can find a lot of different types of works of art.

6 Some of the most famous pieces you can find in this amazing museum are:
Andy Warhol Marilyn Diptych 1962 Wassily Kandinsky Swinging 1925

7 Mark Rothko Black on Maroon 1958 Pablo Picasso Head of a Woman (Fernande) 1909

8 Madam Tussauds (London)
If you want to have an entertaining time with your favorite artists, then you cannot miss the MADAME TUSSAUDS museum, which with venues all around the world (from London to Hong Kong), welcomes thousands of people daily. As you may be aware, we had the chance to visit London and this stunning place was on the top or our “Must Visit” list. Basically, the museum, gives you the chance to have a look to the most realistic wax figures of both, members of the Royal family (in this case British because of its location), famous people from Hollywood’s industry and even some really important historical characters. Some examples were, Lady Di, Albert Einstein, One Direction, The Beatles and even Miley Cyrus, who is amusingly sitting in the iconic tongue that represents her latest tour, Bangerz.

9 The whole point of the visit is for you to be able to take some photographs with them and to be honest; they look so real that it’s hard to tell whether they’re not actually there. A fact that stands out is that unlike some other museums, this one offers a fun time and great quality entertainment for all ages, which can be very hard to find.  Madam Tussauds also offers some really thrilling attractions. The first one, and oldest one, is a ride in which you find out about British history through an exciting path oh animated wax figures. Then, for brave visitors, you can take part on a horror short trip, in which people disguised as monsters try to scare you as you walk through a dark alley. And last but not least, you can watch the new 4D movie of Marvels adventure, focused on the avengers, that with amazing special effects, makes you feel like you’re a part of it.
