The Emergency Response Guidebook
The First Responder’s First Resource - Worldwide! Published every four years 13 million copies distributed More than 17 languages More than 2.2 million copies ERG2012 Android/iPhone Applications – Late 2012 PHMSA’s first responsibility is SAFETY, safety of the American people related to the Commercial Transportation of Hazardous Materials. The Administration and the Secretary of Transportation are also focused on: (1) reducing the regulatory burden on businesses and the economy, (2) reducing the congestion in transportation, and (3) bringing 21st Century Solutions to problems. We are putting new emphasis on preventing accidents, especially potential accidents with High Consequences. We work in full partnership with other modal administration and TSA.
