My name is Gloria Riska and I will be the facilitator for this course. I work for Verizon in the Enhanced Communities Contract Management group. Let me begin by thanking you for taking the time to familiarize yourself with our vECAP system and taking this home settlement training course. Transition: Let’s begin by answering the question, “What is vECAP?”. Verizon Enhanced Communities Confidential and proprietary material for authorized Verizon personnel only. Use, disclosure or distribution of this material is not permitted to any unauthorized persons or third parties except by written agreement. 1

2 What is vECAP? The Verizon Enhanced Community Application Platform
represents a strategic partnership between Verizon and master planned communities throughout the Verizon footprint. This system processes payments based on marketing agreements signed with owners and developers. This course will guide you through this platform and show you how to access various applications using this system. Audio Script Guide: The Verizon Enhanced Community Application Platform represents a strategic partnership between Verizon and master planned communities throughout the Verizon footprint. The purpose of the system is to process payments based on marketing agreements signed with owners and developers. These marketing agreements provide Verizon with the means to market our products and services at these properties. The developers and owners are often paid a commission for these marketing rights. The agreements are with MDUs (Multi-dwelling Units), SFUs (Single Family Units), and some HOAs (Homeowner Associations). This course will guide you through the platform and show you how to access various applications using this system. Transition: Let’s take a look at our agenda.

3 Agenda Basic Navigation Settling Homes 3. View Settled Homes
View Commissions View Billing (Bulk Customers Only) Additional System Features Audio Script Guide: In this course we will review: 1. Basic Navigation – Help you learn how to access vECAP and log into the system 2. Settling Homes – Explain how to prepare your addresses in order for you to receive payment on them. 3. View Settled Homes – Take a look at what addresses were completed and already paid. 4. View Commissions – A look into the history of payments to you. 5. View Billing – This section is for our Bulk Customers only and will show you where to go to view their bills. 6. And then finally take a look at some additional system features to help you become more familiar with vECAP. There are some agreements where home settlements/closings are handled by our Contract Managers. These agreements are mainly for our MDU customers. If you are an MDU customer, your main focus during this training are agenda items 1, 2, 4, and 6. For our SFU customers, all agenda items except #5 are required. Transition: Let’s go to our first agenda item, basic navigation.

4 Basic Navigation Overview Accessing vECAP The Welcome Screen
Audio Script Guide: In this section we will show you how to access the vECAP system and then familiarize yourself with the welcome screen/homepage. Transition: Let’s look at accessing vECAP.

5 Accessing vECAP - URL http://www.verizon.com/enhancedcommunities
Audio Script Guide: The vECAP system is accessed by entering the URL into the address field of your web browser. Transition: Hit enter or click on the Go icon.

6 Accessing vECAP - Login
Audio Script Guide: This is the first screen you will see after typing in the URL. In order to log in, let’s click on: “agree” after you have read the disclosure.

7 Accessing vECAP - Login
Audio Script Guide: On this page you will enter in your system generated user-I d and password provided to you by your Contract Manager. When your account is set up in vECAP by your contract manager, a username and password is created for you. If you don’t have this information or unable to log into the system, please get in contact with your contract manager and they will be more than happy to assist you. Transition: Let’s continue on by putting in our user ID and password and then clicking on the “enter” button.

8 Accessing vECAP - Login
Audio Script Guide: The very first thing the system will ask you to do is change your old password to a new one. Please make a note of this change because your contract manager does not have the capability of retrieving this information if lost or misplaced. So it is imperative that you keep this information readily available when trying to access vECAP. Transition: Now let’s finally see what the welcome screen looks like.

9 The Welcome Screen Audio Script Guide: This is your home/welcome screen. On your left is the menu of some areas that will be covered during this training. Please feel free to contact your contract manager if you have any questions.

10 Settling Homes Overview Home Settlement
Transition: Let’s go to our second agenda item: Settling Homes and home settlement.

11 Home Settlement SAMPLE
Audio Script Guide: From the menu list on your left you will need to click on “Homes Passed” in order to settle homes for payment for your properties. This is normally done when a house is sold. By clicking on the homes passed link, you will be given a list of your properties or developments. If you have more than one property/community, you should see them all listed here for you. Transition: In this demonstration, let’s click on the “Country Square” sample to continue on.

12 Home Settlement SAMPLE
Audio Script Guide: When you click on the property, a screen will list all the addresses that we’ve loaded into vECAP for you. These addresses were provided to us by you and are listed for you to choose for payment as you close your homes. This page also gives the total number of unsettled addresses we have loaded in your community. In this example, there are 115 unsettled addresses.

13 Home Settlement SAMPLE
Audio Script Guide: Check the box to select which address needs to be settled. If there is more and they are not listed on this page, click on the “next” link for additional addresses you may need.

14 Home Settlement SAMPLE
Audio Script Guide: Once you have checked the boxes of all addresses to be settled, click “homes passed”.

15 Home Settlement SAMPLE
Audio Script Guide: When the “homes passed” is selected, this next screen will appear and show all the addresses you’ve chosen. If you have more than 10 addresses selected, the first 10 will appear per page, all with a “homes passed date” listed. Each address needs a homes passed date because this will control when payments are made to you. Always remember, the current month’s commission is for the previous month’s sales. So for example, if a house settled with a date of 05/03/2011, as above, it will be paid commissions in June Our commission cycle ends on the 14th of each month and we strongly advise that all home settlements are put into the vECAP system by the 13th of each month to insure on-time payments. Located on this page you will also find the “total number of homes to be passed”. In this example they have 2 homes. Transition: Once all the address dates have been entered, click “submit”.

16 Home Settlement Audio Script Guide: Upon address submission, your next screen will give you confirmation information for the houses you just settled. Please make a note of the Receipt ID. If there are any problems with the addresses, this receipt ID number will be used for research. Transition: Let’s continue on to our next agenda item: View Settled Homes
