Students must pass the following: 4 credits of English 4 credits of Math (including Algebra 2) 3 credits of Science 3 credits of Social Studies ½ credit of Health ½ credit of Physical Education 5 credits of Electives 1 credit of Fine Arts during grades 7-12 1 course in Financial Literacy during grades 9-12

Conduct classroom lessons throughout 10th-12th grade on the college search process for students Materials will be packaged for students on Schoology after each lesson Provide presentations for parents (grades 9-12) on the college search process Meet individually with students to provide college/career advising Assist in the college search and application process

What do I need to know about college right now? Setting themselves up for success - Having a strong 9th grade year - Track activities and accomplishments College talks - Starting the conversation now - April - Attend Licking County College Fair at C-TEC PSAT (Preliminary SAT) – practice for actual SAT Attending helpful parent nights - November – College Information Night

No HW breaks (November, December, February, March) We create action plans that constantly evolve for students in collaboration with: Teachers Administration Parents Mental Health Professionals We address issues including stress and time management, anxiety, depression, disordered eating behaviors, bullying, and drug and alcohol use. Myth Busting: Every GHS freshman has 3 hours of homework each night My child must be involved in every extracurricular we offer My child must take every AP offering Everyone has a 4.0 and is in the top 10 percent C-TEC/OSU-N are lousy Pressure vs. Stress (pressure turns coal into diamonds)
