4. T-Shirts
We have a list of names of those of you who did not get a t-shirt but paid
Also, Key Club t-shirts are not required, but some type of SCF or SCFCS shirt is at events

5. Historian Julia is our new historian!
At events, take pictures with your cell phone and send them to her

6. Sea Breeze Dance Tonight! 5:15-8:15pm
st St W, Bradenton, FL 34209
Sea Breeze Elementary School is having their annual dance for the students
Volunteers will help out with setup and cleanup, as well as manning booths during the dance

7. Weekly Collegiate School Tutoring
Any member can sign up to tutor younger students at the collegiate school. You may work around your school schedule and come in and offer your help. This is a great service project that is always offered and can be for how long as you want it to be. Younger students really like the help from other students like us. Forms are in the collegiate school front office and let an officer or Mrs. Peck know if you are interested!

8. Rye Preserves National Work Day
Saturday September 12th
8:30-11:00am
At Rye Preserve
Will be weeding out invasive plants in Rye Preserve to make room for native species
Will become a once-a-month event

9. Key Club Kick-Off Conference (KCKC)
Leadership training conference
For anyone who wants leadership training, all are welcome
Saturday September 19th
9am-1 at Sarasota High School
Business casual dress code
Do not wear Key Club shirts
No fee!
Breakfast and Lunch provided!

10. Florida 2 mile Walk WHO: Participants wanted to walk for a great cause
WHAT: Fun walk to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research
WHEN: September 19th, 2015
WHERE: Mulberry Ave Bradenton Fl
Tickets are $19 each. If interested let Nicole Hittel know ASAP. Light food and snack provided afterwards.

11. Tampa Bay Watch National Public Lands Day Cleanup
Saturday September 26th

Beach Cleanup and Marine Safety

12. Walk to end Alzheimer’s
At Riverwalk Rossi Park
October 3rd
Registration is at 9am, walk starts at 10am
2 mile walk

13. Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk
Sponsored by American Cancer Society
Saturday October 24th at 9am
At the Sarasota Polo Club
Need to make a team like Relay

14. Book Drive The Bradenton Kiwanis Club recently bought a book mobile
Need help getting books to fill it
Bring in books for service hours
3 books=1 hour
Max of 5 hours
Final book collection date: Nov 1

15. Medicine Bottle Drive We are collecting empty medicine bottles
Donating them to doctors in Africa to use for medications
Giant collection at KCKC

16. Today’s Activity! Organize back into your groups Write down events
Assign event organizers

17. Event Organizer Organizes and plans volunteer event
Needs to attend the event and take attendance there
Responsible for taking pictures at the event and sending them to Julia
Can put on resume and college apps!
