photo placement Advisor Notes/Tips
We begin with a basic Pagesurfer w/18 photo boxes (2 as group photos). Consider the best photos for the larger vertical on the left side and the dominant of the montage on the right.
13
photo placement ~ weak vs. strong dominants Advisor Notes/Tips
Our first choices for the large vertical and dominant of the montage are weak. Determine your best photos and showcase them in larger photo boxes.
14
photo placement - extreme horizontal
Advisor Notes/Tips The horizontal photo of the coaches is not the best proportion for the photo box. The three players listening to the coach is much better.
15
photo placement ~ spread development
Advisor Notes/Tips We moved the coach photo to the montage and placed another photo in the bottom left-hand corner of montage. Weak crop of photo. Players warming up creates a much better crop/proportion for the box. Although the larger vertical contains a strong photo, there could be a better choice. Enlarging the montage dominant allows us to move the previous dominant to that position.

photo placement ~ spread development Advisor Notes/Tips
Although the larger vertical dominant contains a strong photo, there could be a better choice. Replacing the jump ball photo, we have a much better crop.

photo placement ~ spread development Advisor Notes/Tips
Is the coach reaction photo in its best position? Moving it to the photo box next to the scoreboard, we create a state championship game montage. We added the two photos and moved the original montage dominant to the bottom right of montage. Have have several boxes left to fill. It’s deadline time and the season is over. Althougth the extreme horizontal photo (left page) provides a nice choice, we could use that photo in other boxes.
