Children are in the process of having their fingerprint ID created – only an internal programme and cannot be accessed externally
All reading scheme books are scanned in and out
A number of opportunities each week to change books – please be patient with us while systems and routines are put in place
Bookmarks – key questions linked to their level
Expectation to read a minimum of 3times a week (between 5 and 10 minutes)
Parent to record reading and sign off finished book – see example
Reading five times a week = name on Reading Challenge
Parent helpers are very important
Guided Reading is an opportunity for teachers to hear children read and enables input and assessment
