1. Simplify file receipts from clients Looking at the PSP’s PrintOS Inbox, you can see all the folders that were uploaded by your clients. This concentrated exchange takes all incoming files from , we transfer, drop box link, W2P – ZIP/SIT files can be extracted automatically. Stay ahead easily by having one centralized "box" with all communications and files. You can apply color coded tags to any file for easy management. 2. Fast content validation, including automatic preflight and next, we open the ‘xxx’ folder to see the files: You can see that the two files passed preflight. Any customized profiles can be uploaded and saved in Box. You can read the instructions and easily reply from within Box back to client’s . Effective route files, directly to production If the file passed the validation step, you can now send it to a specific destination and beforehand impose the file directly in Box It can be a HP SmartStream Production Pro DFE, a RIP, a Prepress department folder or any other destination. For instance, if you choose the Production Pro option, you can select the right print setting and send the file directly to production HP confidential. For internal use only. Updated September 2016

Another cool feature of PrintOS Box is the ‘Easy Submit’. With ‘Easy Submit’ web application you can give your customer a simple tool, to upload files into PrintOS Box. The Easy Submit portal can be branded by the PSP’s and select to which person to send the files to. Your client logs in to ‘Easy Submit’ web page First, he needs to type in the Project name and the focal point name at the PSP. Second, the client presses the ‘Add New Files’ button to upload files and Completes the short form. This action can be repeated in order to upload multiple files at once. The process is completed once the client has clicked the upload button. At the PSP side, you can now see the uploaded folder from Easy Submit, here in your Box PrintOS inbox. It’s as simple as that! Q5: Is HP charging for PrintOS? A5: HP PrintOS is offered to HP GSB customers with an active service contract at no additional cost. Some applications are available for a fee. Q6: Who can connect to PrintOS? A6PrintOS is available to HP Print Service Providers, who own an HP press or a printer covered by an HP service agreement Q7: Does HP PrintOS apply only to HP presses and printers? Is it available for all HP presses and printers? A7: PrintOS is targeting print service providers, who own an HP graphics press or printer covered by an HP service agreement. Upon release at drupa 2016, PrintOS will be available for HP Indigo and HP PageWide Web Press customers, while support for HP Scitex and HP Latex customers and other HP graphics product lines will follow in PrintOS flows jobs both to customers’ HP devices and non-HP devices. Q8: Is PrintOS available globally? A8: Yes, from wherever you can access the Internet.1 Q9: Which languages are supported on PrintOS? A9: PrintOS supports 10 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Portuguese. Q11: Is PrintOS mobile ready? A11: PrintOS runs under a browser and will work well on reasonably sized tablets. The nature of the data and operations will limit the utility accessing PrintOS through smartphone browsers. A native mobile app with select PrintOS capabilities will be available for iOS and AndroidTM smartphones by the end of At release, PrintOS will have a native iOS and AndroidTM app for Print Beat for HP Indigo presses.1 Q12: What is the HP PrintOS security commitment? A12: HP works to maintain the highest standards of security in order to protect customer data. When data is sent to PrintOS, users can assume that HP has done everything possible to safeguard the information in its possession. In order to meet the growing demands and challenges of the modern cloud environment, HP is constantly monitoring and improving the applications, systems, and processes critical to PrintOS. Q13: What is the HP PrintOS privacy commitment? A13: HP has a documented and published privacy statement that strictly prohibits the sale, rental, transfer, trading, or disclosure of personal information to third parties. The global HP privacy standards and statement can be found on the PrintOS website or go to hp.com/go/privacy. Q14: What is the PrintOS availability commitment? A14: HP PrintOS availability will be no less than 99.00%. As with any software as a service (SaaS) application, HP will occasionally have planned downtime for maintenance or to improve, add or remove features or capabilities we believe are right for our business and customers. Planned downtime for these reasons is not included in the calculation of PrintOS solution availability. Q15: What is the HP PrintOS disaster recovery and backup policy? A15: HP PrintOS is based on industry-leading cloud design, which provides physical and logical redundancy at every layer. Each layer of virtualization is redundant to provide high availability and scalability. Q16: What is HP’s relationship with One Flow Systems? A16: HP and One Flow Systems have a contractual relationship under which One Flow is developing products for integration with PrintOS. HP has no ownership position in One Flow. 1 The HP PrintOS Mobile Application is compatible with Android™ 4.0 or later and iPhone mobile digital devices running iOS 8 or later, and requires the press/printer and the smart phone to be connected to the Internet. Q1: Which HP presses are connected today? A1: HP Indigo has near real time and historical data and PWP has historical data only. In release 2 WS6600p and WS6800p, 5X00 and 3X00 can connect for historical data. The 5X00 has near real time data with the latest press SW. (Full table of app mapping on next slide). Q2: Can I connect anywhere? A2: Yes, you can connect anywhere and get near real time data from your computer or mobile. (Press dependent, check app mapping). Q3: What do the KPIs stand for? A3: Print Volume is the total number of impressions in a given time period. Availability is the total percentage and time a press is available for printing and not actively involved in failure recovery or maintenance activities. Technical issues is calculated as a combination of failure rate and jam rate. Failure rate happens every time the press moves from Printing or Ready state to Standby state without the operator actively requesting it do so. The rate is calculated per one million impressions. Jam rate (relevant only for sheet fed presses) happens every time a sheet of substrate gets stuck inside the press and causes it to stop. The rate is calculated per million sheets. Restarts is the number of restart processes performed by the press or the PC that runs the press per million impressions. Supplies lifespan is calculated for HP Indigo supplies: PIP and Blanket. The average supplies lifespan is a percentage of the HP Indigo supplies guidelines. In R2 BID’s are also viewable, but not part of the Print Beat reports. HP confidential. For internal use only. Q1: Can I edit the preflight properties? A1: Box comes with 3 pre-defined Preflight profiles: Standard, Strict and Harsh, properties for each can be found in settings. Q2: Which preflight is used? A2: We use Callas. Q3: Which file format can be submitted? A3: All file formats can be submitted, except .exe files. Q4. Do I need to manually extract ZIP/SIT files? A4. In release 2 ZIP and SIT files can be automatically extracted. Q5: How much does it cost? A5: Until May 1st 2017 there is no cost, afterwards there will be a low monthly subscription fee. Q1: What is the pricing model? A1: Monthly subscription based on usage; items are through the system. Q2: Can i connect my peripheral systems? A2: We have an Order submission API that allows connecting brand website or W2P to submit jobs. Postbacks can be configured to update MIS or website about status and shipping details. Q3: Can I manage adhoc jobs? A3: Site Flow addresses the needs of B2C or B2B2C. This is not the main case used, but can be supported. Q4: Can I track the status of a job or order across the floor? A4: Site Flow includes order submission, automated pre-press and shop floor management capabilities to track from submission and onwards. Q5: Can I print on my offset or non-Indigo presses? A5: Site Flow allows you to funnel jobs to a hotfolder and continue tracking across the floor via barcode scans. We support submission to all presses at different levels of integration. Q1. Will I be charged on using PrintOS Resource Manager? A1. No, Resource Manager, just like any other PrintOS application in the “Getting more out of your press” section (e.g. Printbeat, Knowledge zone, etc.) will be at no charge. Q2. Is it applicable for the L&P DFE? A2. No, currently it is applicable for Production Pro only. in the future, there might be more devices that will added to the list. Q3. Can I share resources with this app with another DFE? A3. In drupa time frame you will be able to share an entire DFE configuration with another device on your PrintOS account. Later on, we will allow sharing a subset of resources. Q4. Is it available in Production Pro 5.2? A4. No, it is part of the PrintOS integration in Production Pro 6.0. Q5. But wait… how will I move my resources to 6.0…? A5. The upgrade process is very solid, so you can easily migrate your resources to 6.0 HP confidential. For internal use only. Updated September 2016

Q1. What other alternatives does HP have for composer files, and when should I use each one? HP SmartStream Designer allows composition, but since it is based on the designer’s Mac/PC, it is slower than PrintOS Composer and doesn’t allow the designer to continue with his work. It is recommended when composing a few dozen of records SmartStream Composer is a server based solution, rather than a cloud solution. it is recommended when composing hundreds of thousands or millions of records SmartStream Production Pro is Indigo’s commercial DFE. It allows composing tens of thousands of records, as part of the existing DFE Workflow. However, it employs DFE computing resources and doesn’t allow central management as found in PrintOS Composer PrintOS Composer is recommended when composing hundreds and 10’s of thousands of records Q2. Can PrintOS Composer compose mosaic jobs? A2. Yes. Q3. Can PrintOS Composer compose images? A3. Currently not. however, this is part of the product’s road map. Q4. will I be charged for using PrintOS Composer? A4. Until may 1st, using PrintOS Composer is at no extra charge. After which, PrintOS Composer will be available be in a per need subscription model. Q1. Can I create any Imposition file with PrintOS Imposer? A1. Currently, users may only modify existing templates. However, users may import any .IMPP file they created with HP SmartStream Designer. Creating imposition files from scratch, is on the product's road map. Q2. Can I print files imposed in PrintOS Imposer on any device? A2. Yes. Users can print files imposed in PrintOS Imposer on any device. Q3. Will I be charged for using PrintOS Composer? A3. Until may 1st, using PrintOS Imposer is at no extra charge.
