GIT is a distributed revision control system with emphasis on speed, data integrity and support for distributed workflows.
Strong support for non linear development.
Rapid branching and merging including specific tools for visualizing and navigating
Compatible with http ssh etc

6. GitWeb Web interface to Git repositories. Its features include:
Viewing multiple Git repositories with common root.
Browsing every revision of the repository.
Viewing the contents of files in the repository at any revision.
Viewing the revision log of branches, history of files and directories, see what was changed when, by who.
Viewing everything that was changed in a revision, and step through revisions one at a time, viewing the history of the repository.
Finding commits which commit messages matches given search term.

IPZilla is a tool used by Eclipse to track Intellectual Property Due diligence requests
FOSSology is an open source license compliance software system and toolkit. As a toolkit you can run license, copyright and export control scans from the command line.
