Purpose To inform the SEAMEO Centre Directors Meeting 2017 of the progress of the SEAMEO ‘Learning Science and Mathematics Together’ (LeSMaT)

(a) Strengthening collaboration through teaching, learning and assessment ; (b) Enhancing thinking, technology, life (work/survival/ entrepreneurial) skills; (c) Values-based education : global citizenship, ESD and ESL; Training of Trainers: gathering educators who are trained as advocate to promote ESD and ESL through structured LeSMaT prepared in the form of d-book or ODL module (e) Sharing of exemplary practices through publications : LSM online journal and Blended Learning book

Suggested Agreement The SEAMEO CDM 2017 is requested to:
take note of the progress and the work plan for the development of the SEAMEO LeSMaT (Borderless); provide continuous support to LeSMaT and any off- shooting projects for the networking of schools in the SEAMEO member countries including the ‘Champion School Awards’ in conjunction with CoSMEd 2017; provide inputs for the planning and financial support for continuous and sustainable R&D activities.
