The BCGControlBar Library was chosen for its rich feature set and MFC architecture.
Situation
ACDSee has a demanding, sophisticated user base. Our customers need to organize, search, edit and view tens of thousands of images. When dealing with such large image collections, being able to customize the user interface and workflow becomes a must. At the same time the UI must be attractive and unobtrusive, to complement the images rather than compete with them.
Benefit
The BCGControlBar library provided an easy way to enhance the user interface in ACDSee. We were able to quickly implement complex UI features, allowing us to concentrate on the core functionality of ACDSee. Many of the components offered by the BCGControlBar library were used as is, while others were tailored to fit our exact needs.

Summary
BCGSoft has everything to create a state-of-the-art UI and we could customize it in a broad level due to source code availability and helpful support staff!
Situation
The first version of Palette CAD Software was released 1995 and the last face lifting was Even at this time we used the standard edition of the BCGLibrary. Now the time has come to create a new and modern user interface to target the customers of tomorrow.
Benefit
We used the BCGSoft implementation of the Ribbon UI along with the docking managers. This saved us a lot of time and work. Anyway, we couldn't get around understanding the framework in detail to do the required customizations. And I was really satisfied with the support of BCGSoft to accomplish this task.
