11 SIM Tech Initiative – Implementation Strategy
We will follow a phased chapter roll-out versus a Big Bang approach YM will continue for a period of time As much as possible, core data will be extracted and moved to the new platform We will take a “train the trainer approach”. For those chapters with administrative support, chapter admins can participate as trainers based on bandwidth If Chapter website is not maintained on YM, your chapter can choose to remain on current platform or migrate to the new platform after the system is live Chapters will be asked to engage with the project team for the following: Provide input for chapter specific system set-up and configuration Review custom fields and data anomalies for chapter data Handle disposition of chapter maintained data that’s external to YM

12 SIM Tech Initiative – Next Steps
Complete due diligence and finalize vendor selection Enter into contract negotiations and execute vendor agreement Engage additional project resources to assist with implementation planning and roll-out and data analysis and conversion Begin implementation planning with vendor and develop roll-out plan to both National and Chapters Schedule initial training for “Train the Trainers”
