it is an organized way in figuring something out.

1. Ask a question. 2. Form a hypothesis. 3. Design and conduct an experiment. 4. Analyze the results of the experiment. 5. Draw a conclusion.

Why is the Scientific Method important?
Because when the scientific method is used to solve a problem. The procedure can repeated by anyone and verify the result/s.

Independent variable ( IV ) Dependent variable ( DV ) Control group Experimental group

Independent variable (IV) is the factor that you change in the experiment.
Dependent variable ( DV ) is the factor that we measure. It is the result of the independent variable.

Control group is the one that remains the same throughout the experiment.
Experimental group is the one that you manipulate or change in the experiment.

5. What was the dependent variable or measured data (DV) in the experiment? 6. What were the control variables ( CV)? Amount of water. Plant growth rate measured in centimeters. Amount of sunlight, type plant, soil, humidity, temperature, and location.
