Written for an audience of scholars and researchers in a particular field.
Also sometimes called peer-reviewed, academic, or refereed.

These 2 simple database search techniques will increase the relevance of your results!
Root Word Searching
Phrase Searching

9. Search Tip No. 1
Root Word Searching Enter the root of a word and put an asterisk (*) at the end. The database will return results that include any ending of that root word. Example: therap* = therapy, therapeutic, therapies, therapist

10. Search Tip No. 2
Phrase Searching Use quotation marks to search for an exact person, place or thing related to your topic. Examples: 
“therapeutic art*”  “art therap*” “color psychology”
