2. Task A
You are required to plan, prepare and construct 5 different sympathy designs in medium in current commercial use, which are different from the ones in tasks B & C.
Each design requires you to state the name of the design, a photograph of the design and narrative stating its suitability (when you would suggest it’s use to the customer), the care and storage and transportation of the design and the cost to the customer.
3 designs are required to be costed up using the provided formula (appendix B) for calculating the retail cost
and 2 designs are to be costing down (appendix B).
Each of the 5 designs is required to be evaluated using the evaluation sheet. (see appendix C)

3. Task Bi Based wreath in foam (25cm/10in) with complimentary spray / costed up - construction time 1 hour 15 mins
Task Bii Loose posy pad (25cm/10in) / costed up using - construction time 45 minutes
Task Ci Double ended spray (60cms/24in)/ Retail price to be stated in advance /design to be costed down - construction time 35 minutes
Task Cii Produce a small design with points or corners, using a moss or straw base / Retail price to be stated in advance / design to be costed down - construction time 1 hour 15 minutes

4. Informal funeral design
These tend to be more natural designs, for

6. Formal designs a Heart a Cross Letters
Formal designs are BASED with flowers,
foliage or mosses; and is finished with a
spray.
