2 Post Cards Front Picture/illustration/map from the country or place visited NAME of the attraction, landmark OR beach NAME of the country OR city MUST be in INK or TYPED

3 Post Card Back Printed or illustrated stamp (no real stamps)
Address it to a friend Write a hand-written message to your friend. The message MUST have at least (3) facts from your visit. (EXAMPLE: population, weather information, places visited, landmarks, square miles)

4 Thank You Cards This can be done on blank copy paper or construction paper. Thank you card MUST contain……. Salutation Date Message – hand written IN INK Signature

5 Friendly Letter • Written to someone you know WELL
• You can use slang, casual language (informal) • No inside address • Use a COMMA after salutation • Can use contractions and abbreviations

6 Business Letter No abbreviation Formal language Has an INSIDE address
Can be a request, complaint, compliment, appreciation

Facsimile – a message sent through phone wires – electronic mail sent through a computer Memorandum (memo) – a correspondence sent from one employer to another (at a company)
