12 Central’s Expectations of A.O.O & Coordinators
Log into the system multiple times each day and open every iSTAR report for your schools to ensure that the report is correct. the administrator from within the iSTAR that there is an error that needs to be corrected. One is not enough to ensure that corrections have been made. We have noted that Operations Coordinators are ing the school, but the errors still have not been corrected. Follow up with a telephone call if the error is not corrected. If persistent errors are not corrected, the OC should make the corrections and the principal from within the iSTAR that a correction has been made and appropriate follow-up (if not done) needs to be documented. If an Operations Coordinator has schools with persistent errors, he/she should schedule a visit to assist the site administrators with how to accurately complete iSTAR reports. Operations Coordinators should also monitor for duplicate or triplicate reports and reports not submitted. Operations Coordinators should also be cognizant of which of their schools files few or no iSTAR reports. Schools need to be using the system.
