Study identified FSU as having one of the highest graduation rates of African-American students of nearly universities We have virtually erased graduation rate disparities between all categories of underrepresented students and our traditional students Making FSU the highest-ranked public university to attain this distinction.

Our Strategy: “Broad-Based & Targeted”
Broad-Based – Eliminating barriers to graduation by improving processes and optimizing academic pathways. Targeted – Identifying unique and at-risk populations and developing programs to address their particular interests and challenges.

Take 15 We researched existing, national 15 hour and Finish in 4 efforts We learned that students who were taking 15 hours as opposed to 12 had Higher GPAs Higher Retention Rates Shorter Time to Degree Results were consistent across groups Increases Academic Engagement
