Anatomy of a koala. Koalas have a big nose. Koalas have two thumbs.
Koalas weigh between 11 and 26 pounds. Koalas have claws to help them climb. Koalas have 3 fingers on their back feet. Koalas are warm- blooded.

Habitat of a koala Koalas live only live in Australia.
Some koalas live on mountains. Koalas also live on flat land. Koalas find branches to sleep on. Koalas live in eucalyptus forests.

Life cycle of a koala Baby koalas are called joeys.
Baby koalas are the size of a jelly bean. Koalas have one joey at a time. Koalas live more than 10 years in the wild. After one year a baby koala can live on its own.

Interesting facts of a koala
Koalas nap a lot. Koalas are most active at night. Koalas are nocturnal. Owls, eagles, Dingoes and Pythons are a koala’s enemies. Koalas sleep up to18 to 20 hours a day.
