2 MAXI MOVE Battery Powered Vertical Lift 500 lbs. weight limit
Used for mod to max assist patients Used for fall recovery Used for boosting, repositioning, turning Provides transfer to the toilet, bedside commode, chair & bed Used for ambulating (proper slings/bar)

3 SEATED SLING (LAUNDERED)
Apply appropriate sling Crisscross leg straps Attach sling to the bar (Loop/Clip) Loop with 2 point bar Clip with 4 point attachment Apply brakes and Hoist patient up Position patient to desired location Use tilt feature (4 point clip bar only) Place bed in chair position for don/doff sling (2 point bar) Unhook sling

4 SLING: REPO SHEET (Single Patient Use, Disposable)
Only can be used with 2 point bar Patient must be centered on the sheet Attach straps to the bar Hoist patient up Boost / Turn / Reposition patient

5 SIMPLE STEPS: (MULTI-STRAPS)
Used for lifting & holding parts of patients body to facilitate examination, care & treatment. Only can be used with 2 point bar Used for turning sideways Apply straps under the body part Attach loops to the sling bar Hoist patient up

6 SIMPLE STEPS: (AMBULATION SLINGS)
Assess patient’s mobility Apply appropriate slings Attach slings to the bar Patient’s feet must have sufficient contact with the floor

10 When To Use Maxi Move Mod to Max Assist Patients
With 2 point bar: Turning, Boosting, Repositioning, Transfers (Supine<>Sit, Bed<>Chair/Commode, Lateral transfers: Bed<>Gurney), Ambulation With 4 point bar: Transfers (Supine<>Sit, Bed<>Chair/Commode, Lateral transfers: Bed<>Gurney) Do not use SEATED SLING for patient with spine & hip precautions Do not use on combative patients

11 IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. . . If battery runs out while patient is being lifted, there are emergency features: Mechanical Emergency lowering Electrical Lowering (old Maxi)
