Lay out area to be cut

Set the saw to the proper depth

Cut the marked area taking care not to damage adjacent boards

After all cuts are made remove the center, both end pieces and sides pieces of the damaged board.

Prepare the new board for replacement. If you have the original material and you are replacing with new material. Please follow this procedure. The original material is 9.5 mm and the new material is 10.5mm. The base ply of the product needs to be modified with a sander. Removing 1mm from the bottom ply.

Sand the replacement board to the proper thickness of 9.5mm

A caliper may be used to measure for the proper thickness.

Measure your replacement board for proper length removing the tongue side

Remove the bottom of the groove on the side match

Remove the bottom of the groove on the end match.

Place epoxy or wood glue on the top of the tongue.

Placing the new replacement board into the repaired area.
Before placing the repaired board into the opening be sure the replacement board is the proper thickness.
Also be sure that the replacement board length will fit properly into the area.
Test fit the replacement board to ensure proper fit.

Place weight on the area until the adhesive is properly cured.

18. Global Exotics Board Replacement
Clean any adhesive residue from the surface immediately and your repair is complete
