Understanding sound will help you to recognise instruments by how high or low they play. Todays aim is to recognise each instrument in the string section of the orchestra by sight and by sound. Success Criteria Be able to recognise the violin, viola, ‘cello, double bass and harp by sound and also by a description of how they are played.
