The mission of Student Success Services is to foster student academic and personal success by providing services and activities for students in their transition to, persistence in and graduation from the university. Provide services and resources that support the campus community in meeting the educational goals of the university.

10. Dog days: New student orientation at fresno state
DOG DAYS provides services and programs to help students make a successful adjustment to the university and establish clear pathways to graduation. During DOG DAYS students meet with an academic counselor, a major advisor, and register for classes.

11. Fresno state’s CONNECT Program
Fresno State’s Connect Program is a place for incoming transfer students to connect with Fresno State events, deadlines, and campus resources.

13. Advising…pathways to graduation
Intrusive advising milestones are designed to help students select appropriate academic courses and programs, to establish effective mentor relationships, to use support services effectively, and to plan for the future.

14. Henry madden library
The Henry Madden Library is a center for study, learning, and scholarship at Fresno State.

15. Student health and counseling center
The Health Center provides students with outpatient medical care. The Counseling Center offers free psychological counseling to help with any issues that may interfere with academic success.

16. FOOD SECURITY AND STUDENT CUPBOARD
The Food Security Project provides several initiatives to help meet the needs of students without reliable access to affordable, nutritious food. Education and resources are available such as the Student Cupboard, which provides free food and hygiene products for current Fresno State students.

17. CARE TEAM
The CARE Team is a collaborative effort to identify students who are facing significant personal struggles, in distress, or students of concern that may benefit from additional support or resources. By using a community approach to foster the well-being of every student, the Fresno State community can collectively build a strong and healthy environment.

18. SERVICES FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES
The Services for Students with Disabilities office provides specialized resources that help students with physical, psychological, and learning disabilities.

19. Learning Center
The Learning Center offers several high-impact practices that help support students towards graduation. As the most comprehensive academic support center on campus, the Learning Center provides tutoring, academic coaching through SupportNet, and Supplemental Instruction.

20. Supportnet (Early alert)
SupportNet is an early alert program that supports student in academic jeopardy with assistance on study strategies, learning styles, and acts as a liaison with additional student support programs on campus.

21. Supplemental instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) targets historically difficult courses and provides weekly facilitated peer review study sessions that offer techniques to improve student understanding of course content in order to improve academic performance.

22. CAMPUS TUTORING
Tutoring is studying made simple. In the basement floor of the library at Fresno State they offer support in subjects ranging from Accounting to Writing. Students can set their own agenda to learn at their pace and complete assignments.

23. Educational opportunity program (EOP) Dream success center Renaissance scholars program
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides an array of services to support first-generation, low-income, and educationally disadvantaged college students to further increase graduation rates and close the achievement gap.
The Dream Success Center provides personal and academic support to help Dreamers and other students succeed in college and realize their dream of a college degree.
The Renaissance Scholars Program provides support to ambitious, college-bound individuals, formerly in foster care.

24. Jan and Bud Richter Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning
The Richter Center works across the university to increase the number and quality of service-learning offerings, which regularly include over 190 courses per year.

The Career Development Center provides guidance to students in discovering and investigating potential majors and careers. The center also assists with job searches and graduate school preparation.

27. Clothing closet
The Clothing Closet in the Career Development Center is available to all students. The Closet has free professional clothing available to wear to job or internship interviews of job fairs.
