and the grave is overwhelmed; The victory is won,
Solo: Jesus has overcome, and the grave is overwhelmed; The victory is won, He is risen from the dead.

I will rise on eagle’s wings; Before my God fall on my knees, and rise. I will rise.
35
There’s a day that’s drawing near when this darkness breaks to light,
and the shadows disappear, and my faith shall be my eyes.
36
and the grave is overwhelmed; The victory is won,
Jesus has overcome, and the grave is overwhelmed; The victory is won, He is risen from the dead.

We Hear from God’s Word John 20:19-31 19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
51
21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you
21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, even so I am sending you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.” 24 Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came.
52
25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord
25 So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into His side, I will never believe.” 26 Eight days later, His disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”
53
27 Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see My hands; and put out your hand, and place it in My side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” 28 Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and my God!”
54
29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen Me
29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” 30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His Name.

70
Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.
They kingdom come, Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread And forgive us our trespasses As we forgive those who trespass against us. A Psalm of Confession: (Spoken together, based on Luke 15) Father, we have sinned against heaven and against You. We are not worthy to be called Your children. We turn to You again. Have mercy on us, bring us back to Yourself as those who once were dead but now have life through Christ our Lord. Amen.
72
The Good News of Forgiveness:
May God who loved the world so much that He sent His Son to be our Savior forgive us our sins and make us holy, and through the Spirit empower us to serve Him in the world. Amen.

“The Same Love” You choose the humble and raise them high;
Words and Music by Paul Baloche and Michael Rossback You choose the humble and raise them high; You choose the weak and make them strong; You heal our broken-ness inside And give us life.
75
The same love that set the captives free,
The same love that opened eyes to see Is calling us all by name; You are calling us all by name;
76
The same God that spread the heavens wide,
The same God that was crucified Is calling us all by name; You are calling us all by name.
77
You take the faithless one aside And speak the words “You are mine”;
You call the cynic and the proud, “Come to me now”.
78
The same love that set the captives free,
The same love that opened eyes to see Is calling us all by name; You are calling us all by name;
79
The same God that spread the heavens wide,
The same God that was crucified Is calling us all by name; You are calling us all by name.
80
Oh,….Oh; Oh,….Oh. Oh,….Oh; Oh,….Oh.
81
You’re calling, You’re calling, You’re calling us to the cross.
~ 4 times ~

The same love that set the captives free,
The same love that opened eyes to see Is calling us all by name; You are calling us all by name;
83
The same God that spread the heavens wide,
The same God that was crucified Is calling us all by name; You are calling us all by name. Oh,….Oh; Oh,….Oh. Oh,….Oh; Oh,….Oh.

"The Wonderful Cross" When I survey the wondrous cross
Words & Music by Chris Tomlin Isaac Watts, J.D. Walt, Jesse Reeves and Lowell Mason When I survey the wondrous cross on which the Prince of Glory died, My richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on all my pride.
86
See from His head, His hands, His feet,
sorrow and love flow mingled down; Did e’er such love and sorrow meet, or thorns compose so rich a crown?

and find that I may truly live.
O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live.
88
All who gather here by grace draw near
O the wonderful cross, O the wonderful cross; All who gather here by grace draw near and bless Your name.
89
Were the whole realm of nature mine,
that were an off’ring far too small. Love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.
