2. What is cubes in space?
Students from around the world design experiment
These experiments fit in a small 4x4cm cube
We send them to NASA
The experiments are flown into space either through a rocket or a balloon

3. What is our experiment?
We are going to send a steel block with magnetic letters attached to it that spell the word “Space”
If the magnets are the same when they come back, magnets worked in space
If they are in a different order, magnets did not work in space

4. Why do we want to do this experiment?
Show how magnets work in space
To get a better understanding of magnets, electrons, neutrons and protons
Learn more about an everyday item (magnets)

5. How does our experiment relate to the real world
Magnets are something used in many electronics people use daily
Could help create better products because of a better understanding of magnets
Learn more about things such as electrons, protons, and neutrons
