South Shore Pool Supply Hassle Free Contract
South Shore Pool Supply has two types of customers. Hassle Free Customers and Non- Hassle Free Customer. Hassle Free Customers sign a contract and we service their pool weekly. These are our preferred customers who receive first priority. Non-Hassle Free Customers are customers whom we open/close and occasionally do a one-time maintenance during the year or repairs as requested. This customer takes care of their pool themselves.

Pool openings Full Opening Partial Opening Owner will remove cover
Remove and fold cover Re-install handrails and or/ladder (if existing) Start Pump, filter and heater Initial Chemical treatment (shock) Brush the entire pool Opening does not include any cleaning of the pool * Pool Openings do not include any cleaning! We brush the entire pool but do not clean the pool. Owner will remove cover Owner will Re-install handrails and or ladder (if existing Start Pump, filter and heater Initial Chemical treatment (shock) Brush the entire pool Partial Opening does not include any cleaning of the pool.

After a Pool is Opened Initial Cleanings are done for Hassle Free Customers: Initial cleanings are to vacuum, backwash, brush, clean filter and balance water after the pool is open (average is 5 hours done over the course of about 5 days) Initial Cleanings are complete when the pool is clean, water is clear, balanced and ready to swim in! Customer then moves to weekly maintenance. Initial cleanings after a pool is opened are for Hassle Free Customers only

Pool Maintenance review
One-Time Maintenance is For Customers who are not Hassle Free Weekly Maintenance is for Hassle Free Customers Hassle Free Customers are visited once or twice a week to: Balance pool water, check water level Check equipment and heater performance Empty baskets, vacuum pool, backwash, brush and skim pool Clean filter if necessary When a customer is not Hassle Free but is having a party or a special occasion we will : Balance pool water with customers chemicals, empty baskets, vacuum pool, backwash, brush, skim and clean filter if necessary

Hot Tub Quarterly Maintenance
What is the difference between a hot tub and a spa? A Hot Tub is a free standing self-contained unit A Spa is in-ground, is connected to the pool system or has its own above-ground equipment Hot Tub Quarterly Maintenance Drain and scrub spa, clean filter, jet clean treatment, replace filter when necessary, refill and balance water Hot Tub Weekly Maintenance Balance water, check and clean filter if necessary

Pool Winterization, chemical treatment Includes filter cleaning Removal of handrails and/or ladder (If existing) Cover is put on the pool Pool Winterization, chemical treatment Includes filter cleaning If filter is cleaned and reassembled by the customer there is a credit Customer removes handrails and/or ladder Customer puts cover on the pool

Water must be lowered for the Closing: Pools With Safety Covers must have the water at least 18” below the skimmer Pools with Tarp covers must have the water level 2 -3 “ below the skimmer There is an additional Charge to lower the water at all pools

Winter Care Service Winter Care is a monthly service to ensure proper water levels, clear equipment of leaves and debris, check cover and adjust tension on safety cover springs if needed. Add a chemical treatment to avoid the green monster in the spring.
